Greece – China Flights to Expand Drastically, as Two Sides Sign Agreement

The civil aviation authorities of China and Greece recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding, which laid out the technical prerequisites for the doubling of flight connections between the two countries.

The Memorandum of Understanding includes a new flight plan which will see the increase of the current fourteen weekly flights to thirty-five.

It also refers in detail to specific destinations in both countries and the airlines that will take on the new flights.

The two authorities agreed to continue talks in view of a complete Air Services Agreement (ASA) expected to be discussed in Beijing in January 2020.

Greece and China are increasing their economic cooperation, and thousands of additional Chinese tourists visit Greece every year.
